Dendrite is a next-generation Matrix homeserver, written in Go, designed to be efficient, reliable, and scalable. It offers a high-performance alternative to Synapse, boasting a smaller memory footprint and improved baseline performance. Built with reliability in mind, it uses the same test suite as Synapse plus a new Go test suite, ensuring adherence to Matrix specifications. Its architecture is designed for scalability, enabling it to run on multiple machines and support large deployments.
